Charlatte Model T225 A/C medium duty tractor is a self-propelled battery powered support vehicle designed to tow baggage, freight, mail, carts/cargo dollies, and pallet dollies. The unit is designed to withstand the severe operational requirements encountered in today's ramp environment. The chassis is designed to accommodate the battery between the front and rear wheels, which not only gives the vehicle more stability but also a lower profile for greater visibility.

The unit is capable of a top running speed of 15.5 mph (24.9 km/h) when empty and has a drawbar pull of 4000 lbs (1818 kg). Power for the main drive is supplied by a high efficiency low maintenance AC motor that is directly coupled to the rear axle. Power steering is provided with a hydraulic accumulator, which provides quieter and smoother operation. The operators compartment contains all the controls and indicators necessary to drive the unit including foot operated accelerator pedal and brake pedal, directional lever, keyless power switch, light switch, and horn switch as well as a LCD display which provides information on the units operation and aids in troubleshooting.
